the wash is the design

Your customer reads the wash first

Across a shop floor, before the cut or the label registers, the wash has already told your customer what the brand is. Tonal depth, contrast, the hand of the fade: that first look is where the design is either real or claimed. You choose the finish that makes the argument: raw indigo, vintage abrasion, clean rinse. We develop and repeat it so the hundredth pair reads exactly like the first.
THE FOUR STAGES

Reference to retail-ready

01
Image to blueprint
A reference image is enough to start; a tech pack is welcome but not required. Either becomes a production-ready denim pattern before anything is committed.
02
Denim sourced or dyed
The raw denim, weight, and indigo depth you specified are sourced or dyed to match, with no quiet substitution along the way.
03
Sampling to spec
One sample, built to the fit and construction you set, with the wash developed until it matches your reference. You approve it before bulk begins.
04
Production, verified in person
Bulk runs with our own team on the floor in China, checking wash batches and hardware in person, not signing off from a distance.

From raw indigo
to vintage fade

Your design sets the finish. Fabric, wash, and hardware all run to the spec you approve. Custom woven labels, hangtags, care labels, and branded packaging complete the presentation. See the Accessories page for the full range.

Why brands trust us with their denim

Racked side by side, they match

01
Wash development kept in-house. Recipes, abrasion, and indigo depth stay with the technicians who developed your sample, never passed to a wash house that has not seen your reference.
02
One team accountable end to end. The people who approve your run are the people who sourced the denim and built the sample. No handoffs where your order becomes someone else's problem.
03
Full IP isolation. Your washes and patterns are never shared, shown, or reused anywhere else.
FAQ & sourcing model

Questions we answer first

Do you accept low minimums for denim?
Yes. Our threshold is 200 units per style, and you can split that across two colors. The floor exists because mills and wash houses set their own batch minimums, and running below them forces compromises on fabric and wash quality that we are not willing to make. For a growing brand, 200 units keeps small batch denim production workable without locking you into volumes your first season cannot carry.
Can you match a specific vintage wash?
Yes. Send the physical garment and our wash technicians develop the abrasion, whiskering, and indigo fading against it until the finish reads as the same wash. You judge the developed sample next to your reference before bulk begins.
Do you offer custom hardware for denim?
Yes. Rivets, shank buttons, zipper pulls, and leather patches are made to order with your branding and matched to the wash they will sit on, so the trim ages with the garment instead of against it.

Have a wash you have been told will not survive production?

Picture the run arriving with the wash you developed holding true across every unit, tonal values matched and contrasts sharp, ready for retail. Send your reference garment or images for a clear read on wash development, fabrics, timelines, and costs.
